Jet and I finally finished watching the second seasons of Avatar... and *agh*.

If I'd just stopped an episode before the last one I would have been okay. But seeing the last one makes me go AGH. Luckily, I only have until the 21st of September before I get to see the next. But seeing the trailers for the Fire Season makes me go AGH even more. AGH!

Ahem.

No spoilers. Just AGH!

There were *reasons* why I stopped watching regular episodes of television shows.

Watch some of the new Doctor Who while you're waiting for the next season! It's not bad at all. ;)

*laughter* Like I need another addiction...

But my sister already got me all the shows up to now. Sniff.

AGH! AGH! Just 19 more days...

In the meantime, you can get excellent AU Avatar at http://rufftoon.livejournal.com and http://rufftoon.deviantart.com/ -- check her Scraps for an (unfinished, augh) AU wherein Aang is rescued from the iceburg not when Katara is ~14, but when she is ~34.

Rufftoon (who was actually working on season 3 as a storyboarder, IIRC) is how I survive so long without new episodes. >_>

I loved the season finale for Season 2 because it was so very wrong. They subverted the Happy Ending so that they can make for the Right Ending in Book 3.

Watch Uncle Iroh. Uncle Iroh will never steer you wrong.

So true... but...

Mako died this last July. So Uncle Iroh will not have his usual voice after the third or fourth episode. What I'm really afraid of is if they kill the character simply because of the loss of his "voice" and soul, really...

Unhappiness...
