I seem to have fallen waaaaay behind on CLAMP titles; I don't recognize most of the names.

Most of the names near the top of the list are from CLAMP's Tsubasa and xxxHolic, which, I think are cross-over shonen and shojo manga and anime. Most. Seishirou is one that I'm not entirely familiar with, but seems to be a vampire hunter that's trying to get Kamui and his twin brother. He taught the hero of Tsubasa, Shaoran, how to fight without his right eye, but he's turned into a villain in the series for unknown reasons as of yet. Very deadly, very powerful, and no one's quite sure what drives him, yet.

Fai's the ever cheerful magician with lots of secrets he just keeps behind blue eyes, lots of nicknames, and a very caring attitude. He has tons of magic that, on the most part, he choses not to use. I love Fai so much.

Yuuko's the time-space witch that is in both series... she's really, really powerful, but she cannot do anything unless she's asked to and paid for it in some equivalent terms. She's a power of nature, but with her own laws. She always intrigues me, as she's actually driven by everyone else's desires, in a way, and yet she's so utterly powerful.

I think the last CLAMP titles I had any familiarity with were Wish (a little) and Cardcaptor Sakura... and before that, Rayearth. I saw the movie of X, but by all accounts that was a drastically truncated and simplified version of that story.

Well, the original X1999 was so drastically tragic, I could see why.

They've been very busy since then. :-) Some of my favorite stuff. I like it so much I can't do fanfic for it because there's no... room for it for me. *laughter* It's too complete for me.

Yeah, the thing that struck me about the movie X was that in the end, nobody got what they wanted. There was enough death and destruction rained down to destroy every precious thing or person that anyone was trying to protect, but not quite enough to bring about the cosmic rebirth that the other guys were striving for. Result: woe.

Yeah.. I am so praying that doesn't happen with Tsubasa and xxxHolic, though there's been plenty of destruction and pain already. *sniffle* The angst! The angst! Some wins, though, so that's a relief, but... my heart hurt too much to get all the way through X...
