Uhm... just 'cause I've been having a really hard time breathing again... and other stuff in just the last few weeks. Just tired and sad and stressed about writing, which is weird... I didn't want to do this at first, as I keep feeling overwhelmed about giving gifts, too. But... oh well, maybe that's not what this is about....

I was thinking of you yesterday... Oh! Because I finally saw The Forbidden Kingdom and I meant to come home and re-read your post. April has been a difficult, dark month for me and many people I know. Spring hasn't come the way it normally does and I am afraid I will miss the gentle transition to the sinking heat of the summer. I've been cranky and tired and yesterday, when it was finally sunny, it was shockingly cold when you stepped outside and you spent the time trying to regain your windwalking abilities. Change will come. Breathing will be easier, our anxiety will ease, the earth will remind us that things grow, and we will feel nourished. I hope it comes quickly.

It's just been a terrible allergy season for everyone here so far, and I haven't run this hard into my breathing limitations since I was a child. And the spring here has been hot and cold and then terribly hot again.

Yay! Forbidden Kingdom!! I'll talk about that there. *grin*

Oh no no no no no no!!!

The Shuu/Uki has been one of the things that's shored my writing confidence up until I got the reviews for ch18, mostly today. I was just hating myself over 17 and 18 for no good reasons. Probably PMS, the drag/depression after the odd high of the whole Biloxi trip, and other stuff.

But knowing you want to write with me and what we're coming up with has been really, really good, and it's been a great gift from you. So thank you, and I really love doing it.

I'm a lot more stresed about the 15 prompts I picked up from springkink and really losing sight of where I'm going with Twin Souls. Those are the big gahs at the moment. So the Shuu/Uki has been a great break so that I can hit the other stuff with better confidence *after*.

I... I dunno. I'm going to have to think about it. It's just that firm grasp of What Is Going On that I had through 16 just slipped away from me when I was gone doing other things. It's more a confidence thing I think than a specifics of what's going on, but it probably wouldn't hurt to talk about it a bit.

Though I'm jonesing enough for the RP it would feel a shame to NOT do that and just angst about something. Maybe better to just do and not angst...
