I got to see it! *dances about* I enjoyed it a great deal and it's definitely gotten me back into a Bleach-writing mood.



It was very good, definitely a Toshiro movie. *grins* I also loved all the subtext between Ukitake and Kyouraku, which is probably why a bunch of folks recommended it to me. They were very sweet, though I have some sympathy for incandescens's reaction of Shunsui just shouldn't have gotten hurt there. *laughs* But he didn't have his bankai right out there (too subtle), and the bad guy did have power of the whoseiwhatsit behind him which was supposed to be able to change reality... sooo I'll take it as a change of reality that Kyouraku could get hurt. Hee.

But Ukitake's talk with Nanao was very much how I think of him. *happy sigh*

Yeah, yeah, watching the whole movie just to get the bits for the characters I love best. Hee.

But I really liked Matsumoto in it, and it really ached when she asked if guys were going to be leaving her without a word for the rest of her life. Ichigo really did come through with his own insight on what was going on. That was neat. And it was fun seeing Shuuhei and Kira get clobbered, bounce, and then come back in running. That's so them. *grins*

Sounds like such a fun movie! The character bits of the shinigami interacting are definitely my favorite parts of bleach. Darn, I want to catch up and be able to see this. *sulk* :)

man, i need to catch up on bleach. i'm still in the bount arc, and it's so slow. i love the stuff with all the shinigami, but the bounts are kind of annoying, and i can't seem to keep myself interested in it. i'm tempted to skip the rest of the arc and just get to the next one, but i'm afraid i'll be lost. *headdesk* mmm, i miss jyuushiro and byakuya. TT^TT have you any advice on the matter?

I'd skip until like the last four or five episodes of the Bounto arc. Well, no, I lie. I watched it all. But in the last bits there are really good Byakuya things.

And there's some good musing things at the very end for all the shinigami.

Of course, I watched like six episodes after the end of the Bounto arc and then just read all the manga scanlations like a madwoman...

It was that damned Bount arc that made me fall for Byakuya. And that was the beginning of the end for me. I'm now a hopeless case. XD Except for that, I really wish I hadn't watched the Bount arc. It was boring and I always felt like they destroyed Ishida's character. That's why I'm not watching the current filler. I'll wait until it goes back to Hueco Mundo...which seems like it might be soon. :D

I want to see so very bad. goes on a manga reading rampage because I am so far behind with just watching the anime, plus it's evil evil filler with hippie Renji. *sighs*
And Kadia (sp) is just to icky...evil almost Mr. Sinister from the X-Men. So obsessed with genetics ewwww.

I love the movie too! Agree with your views on so many things in the movie!! There were a lot of Ichigo and Hitsugaya subtext too! Definitely a treat for ichihitsu fans.:)
