The Microfic Meme

Try to write different categories of fic (angst, fluff, UST, romance...can you think of others?) in 10 words or less.

This is my try using the Twin Souls Jyuushiro and Shunsui from Bleach. Disclaimer thingy: I don't own or make money off of Bleach. At all.



Angst
"We'll die doing this, Jyuushiro."

"They die if we don't."

Fluff
"Come to bed."

"After this kido spell..."

"Jyuushiro..."

"Oh... Shunsui..."

Humor
"A poem for me?"

"Who else?"

"Rina-chan, Unohana-sempai, Kuchiki Kaoru..."

Hurt/Comfort
Shunsui's embrace was a lung remedy like none other.

UST
The waterfall poured over Shunsui's lean strength, caressing brown skin.

Adventure
"On three..."

"Shunsui, this is such a stupid plan."

"Three."

Smut
Jyuushiro arched against those fighting calloused, but gentle poet's hands.

AU or Crossover
Shunsui pressed Jyuushiro back against the bookshelves, "Nice honeymoon suite."

Romance
different bodies same mind
two blades one heart

異体同心 itaidōshin (i different + tai body + dō same + shin mind)
though, really, I would have thought that last character was "heart", not mind...

Thanks! A couple of friends and I squee-ed our hearts out when we found that picture and then proceeded to feel very cheated that the particular ending was never aired because of the promotion for the 1st movie =(

So I'm totally imagining that the AU is the continuation of the colour spread from the manga, amirite? XD

And really, don't feel limited to ten words... I'm always a fan of interesting situations being explored, particularly when they involve Jyuushirou and Shunsui, and even moreso when it also involves sex. ftw.

I also really like the angst, UST, and adventure. My brain is now trying to imagine the epic tales that would contain these lines, and pretty much failing. I kind of want to blame this on the fact that my brain keeps derailing into smut, but it is also that I just kind of suck at that sort of thing. Oh well! This is why you write and I comment. >_>

Hee. In this case it was supposed to be a quick exercise... so I wanted to limit myself a bit... turns out to be a bit like prose haiku, every word counts.

I don't speak Japanese, but I do speak Mandarin. I know for us, the character 心 can refer to both the heart and the mind. A lot of words that are used for thinking or thought have the character 心 in it, so.... what you wrote actually makes perfect sense to me =).
