up and went to work today ... tried to do it without taking pain killers cause I get crazily insanely hyper on vicodin for whatever reason. it's odd. but by 1 I was starting to feel not so great and went in the back to take a pain pill and laid on the floor to do some of the stretches they showed me to be able to do. unfortunately, I think between work and wandering around JCPenny's and Marshall's, I over did it a bit. so no more of that today. so now home and chilling on the bed. I have a physical therapy appointment in the morning, so we'll see how well that helps me out. but the bookstore was really good about everything. they let me stay out on the floor and didn't make me lift and I only had to cashier when it was slow, which meant I could take a moment and actually think about how I was moving and therefore not hurt myself. plus, it seems that either the counters aren't as wide at the bookstore or there's something about the height .... just seemed like I didn't have to stretch as far forward to get stuff from customers. probably would have been just fine if I'd just done work, but wandering around looking at dresses sounded like fun, so stupid silly me, I went out and did that. back is now a little tingly for it.

... have I mentioned that I'm apparently quite chatty on vicodin, too?
