May. 2nd, 2002 03:45 pmThe Sharks are cool to watch. I'm now very impressed with their offense and their energy and it *is* cool to see Ricci's grin.
It looked bad for the Aves to start. Poor Aves, they really looked as tired as they should have been after their seven game series. The second period made things interesting again when Drury, once again, handed them a spark. But they did get really tired in the third period. Ah well.
I'll admit I ducked and winced when Foote took that one shot on his helmet. Ouch.
Hopefully, the next game will have the Aves back up to some of their usual energy levels.

Date: 2002-05-02 03:06 pm (UTC)I'm still a little worried about our chances, but I really hope we can pull it off. Especially since Sutter and Lombardi probably won't have their contracts renewed if we don't make it to the 3rd round, and they're just getting the team to a really good place.
And Roy is so much fun to taunt, with his "Patrick Roy moments," and tendency to freak out and start hitting things. ^_^ I can't wait to be at next Monday's game, chanting, "Paaaaaatrick, Paaaaaaatrick!"
Saturday's game should be interesting; the Sharks traditionally suck bigtime for afternoon games, and the Avs will have had time to rest and get their game back on. I'll just have to hope we can win next Monday and Tuesday, or something
