Drabble: Breathe

Fandom/Characters: Bleach: Ukitake, Hitsugaya, and/or Aizen or Shunsui
Prompt: Breathe.
As per my winter drabbles post.
Jyuushiro awoke to the ringing clamor of bells, dizzying, loud, and confusing. He couldn't quite raise his head, so turned it. Memory returned, of an escaped Aizen, terrible power, overwhelming and cruel. He flinched.
Ice wings filled his vision, light glinting from the planes as if through diamond. They chimed as they brushed against each other, as they struck the air, and as Hitsugaya leaned forward to touch Jyuushiro's throat, testing his pulse.
When Jyuushiro tried to speak, it came out as a gasping croak, and Hitsugaya shushed him, finger to Jyuushiro's lips. "Just breathe, Ukitake. I'll get you home."
