And... it's been cool, so far. I think that after all the negotiations and communication and all that other shit over the last year plus, it's actually done a lot of good. They now listen to Jet, especially now that he's talking more, and can communicate, very clearly, if they got it right or wrong. The role of indulgent grandparents has really made them much better at responding to what Jet really wants and they're doing pretty famously.

Jet loves playing with my father, and it's really made Dad happy. After just one afternoon and morning, Jet actually runs after my Dad to get him to play with him, even with me in the room!!

I'm really glad if Jet getting over another period of separation anxiety from me coincides with wanting time with his grandparents. Yay!!

My god, my Mom *listening* to Jet. Hee. It's cool, though, as he lets her know, full-blast, when he doesn't like what's going on, and it actually works. Hoorah for direct communication!!
